Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thesangeetlady.com (the “Site”) and any booking or performance services provided by The Sangeet Lady (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide live folk performance and entertainment services for weddings and cultural events, including Sangeet, Mehndi, Jaggo, and related ceremonies, as agreed in an individual event contract.
2. Bookings & Contracts
- Availability is confirmed only upon a signed contract and receipt of the required deposit.
- Event details (date, time, venue, scope of performance) will be outlined in a separate written agreement, which governs the specific engagement alongside these Terms.
- We reserve the right to decline any booking request.
3. Fees & Payment
- Pricing is customized per event and outlined in your proposal/contract.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date (see our Refund Policy).
- Remaining balance is due per the schedule stated in your contract, typically before or on the event date.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details, venue access, and any technical requirements (sound system, stage space) as agreed in advance.
- Ensure a safe environment for the performer and any accompanying musicians/crew.
5. Travel & Destination Events
For destination or out-of-area events, travel, accommodation, and related costs will be discussed and agreed upon separately in the contract.
6. Media & Promotion
We may photograph or record performances for portfolio and promotional use (website, social media) unless you request otherwise in writing prior to the event.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (text, images, videos, branding) is owned by The Sangeet Lady and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sangeet Lady is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, including delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (illness, weather, force majeure).
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
